Newspeak

In Orwell’s universe, Newspeak is therefore a tool of oppression, a means of reconstructing reality by erasing complexity, nuance, and any form of resistance. Within this shared identity, I created a personal article on Afrofuturism, exploring Black culture as a language of resistance through visual and spiritual narratives. I highlight artists Sandra Musinga, Manzel Bowman, and Joshua Mays, whose work blends ancestral symbols with futuristic visions to build powerful and liberating Black identities. Dans l’univers d’Orwell, Newspeak est donc un outil d’oppression, un moyen de reconstruire la réalité en effaçant la complexité, les nuances et toute forme de résistance. Au sein de cette identité commune, j’ai réalisé un article personnel sur l’Afrofuturisme, explorant la culture noire comme un langage de résistance à travers des récits visuels et spirituels. Je mets en lumière les artistes Sandra Musinga, Manzel Bowman et Joshua Mays, dont les œuvres mêlent symboles ancestraux et visions futuristes pour construire des identités noires puissantes et libératrices.
